Our HIP services

The solicitor and conveyancer have a key role to play in the compilation and stewardship of a quality HIP. There has been mounting evidence since the launch of HIPs that the general public trusts the solicitor to deliver a duty of care and you need to trust your suppliers to meet your stringent turnaround times.

Law Society Branded HIP

The Law Society has developed a fast, efficient, online HIP solution, guaranteed compliant with HIP legislation. SearchFlow supply the searches integral to each pack, and will provide the training and ongoing support for Law Society online HIP users.

This all-inclusive service provides solicitors with access to a quality, professional pack including all the required and authorised documents, the ability to order Energy Performance Certificates and Home Condition Reports and a choice of delivery formats. White Label HIP

This white label service will allow conveyancers to produce a HIP branded as they choose, priced as they wish and containing content to their own specification.

Solicitors own suppliers can be used if preferred however Home Condition Reports will also be available through approved suppliers from amongst the leading chartered surveyors in the country. Optional finance packages will also be available.

DIY HIP

Many independent solicitors with a local reputation and significant reach may choose the option to compile the required content for a HIP themselves. This is easy to do as all of the elements are available via a SearchFlow account.

If you are already a SearchFlow customer, simply log on as usual, choose the HIP option from the search selection page (option 1) and you can put everything together for your client at the click of a button.

Choose what you need from the dedicated basket of HIP services – whether individual elements such as an Energy Performance Certificate, mandatory or other recommended searches, such as environmental and chancel repair – or our HIP packs:
